Improvised Movie Class

Are you an improviser that loves movies?

Do you love playing boldly? Or do you want to learn to play boldly?

If so, the Improvised Movie Class is for you! This challenging form combines the spontaneous creativity of improv with film techniques adapted to stage.

Learn how to bring genres like superhero adventure, romantic comedy, and fantasy to life onstage. Improvisers will explore heightening, camera angles, and unique cinematic moves to enhance this form. (This class will also include homework in the form of watching movies in each of these genres) At the end of the class, there will be a showcase to demonstrate your new skills to your family and friends. Class requirements: Must have completed Westside Curriculum or equivalent at a theater or college program.
