Candace Snapp


Candace is a writer, actor, and comedienne living in Chicago. She is the creator, executive producer, writer, and actor on the single camera YouTube webseries called Candace’s Characters: A 1-Woman Mockumentary. The series is scheduled to premiere on March 1, 2018.

Originally from Southern Illinois, she graduated from SIU-C after majoring in Theater, Television Production, and Health Education. After school, she went on to intern at CBS studios in L.A., graduate from Second City Chicago’s Improv and Conservatory Programs, and iO’s Improv Training Center. She was chosen as an up-and-coming talent from the iO Training Center and completed a 16-week run of improvised shows with The Pool during the summer of 2017.

In addition to performing at Westside Improv, Candace has performed at The Del Close Marathon, Chicago Improv Festival, and her two-woman show, Crimson and Clover, was chosen as Metromix’s Recommended Pick.

She has also appeared in web shorts and independent films including the SXSW’s Official Selection, The European Kid. She has lent her voice to cartoons and commercials, and has written/performed/directed numerous sketch shows and web-based comedy shorts.

Candace has a number of projects in the works, including the production of a TV pilot she co-wrote and will executive produce in the summer of 2018. She is represented by Big Mouth Talent in Chicago. You can find her comedy reel here:
