GET YOUR REPS IN with Open Gym! This show-style practice will help you feel the flow and structure of an improv set. Strengthen your familiarity with editing, transitions, in and outs, and improve confidence onstage — any and all things related to stage presence and play as improvisers.
What to expect: after a quick general warm up to get brains moving, players will be divided into groups and will run scenes or sets ranging from 8-15 minutes depending on the number of participants and experience levels.
Open Gym is designed to be fun and supportive, and will challenge improvisers to keep learning, growing and gaining experience and greater comfort onstage. LET’S BUILD THOSE IMPROV MUSCLES!
This is a drop in class held Mondays (excluding holidays) from 6 to 7:45 pm.
