Harassment Policy

Westside Improv strongly supports the rights of all its performers and students to create and perform in a safe, supportive, environment free from all forms of harassment, including harassment on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, age, or disability. Harassing conduct includes, but is not limited to:

  • Touching another performer without permission or in an inappropriate way

  • Pigeonholing a fellow performer on the basis of his or her appearance

  • Epithets

  • Negative stereotyping

  • Slurs

  • Bullying

  • Threatening, intimidating or hostile acts that relate to the above characteristics

  • Material that denigrates or shows hostility or aversion toward an individual or group because of the above characteristics

Westside Improv has ZERO TOLERANCE for harassment of any kind. If it comes to our attention that there has been an incident, there will be immediate disciplinary action taken, up to and including expulsion from the theater.
