What’s Long Form Improv?

Long form improv is a group effort, involving several actors working together on a team to spontaneously create stories in real-time. The shows are often inspired by an audience suggestion, and sometimes influenced by outside genres (such as Shakespearean plays or murder mysteries). But in every case, the performers on stage have only practiced the techniques of improv, and are performing completely unplanned material on the spot. We feature teams from Chicago and around the area who share a passion for this entertaining craft. Most of our shows feature 3 separate teams performing for about 20 minutes each. We also have classes where you can learn long form!
