John Slater
John discovered Westside Improv shortly after retiring from the corporate world in 2023. He has no theater background but he is a board-certified wiseacre, and he progressed through Westside’s improv classes as far as the ultra-secret Level 6. He serves as a musical director for Westside shows, and he also likes to indulge his musical improv urges on the stage. His wife Stacy also performs at Westside, having grown tired of hearing how much fun he is having. He is grateful for the community of caring, supportive friends he has found at Westside, all of whom he has added to his Permanent Record.
