Show Dynamics with Matt Higbee
Wednesday Nights Starting July 9
7:00 PM - 9:30 PM
July 9 thru August 27
Great improv isn’t just about strong scenes—it’s about building a compelling show. In this advanced 8-week course, students will explore the mechanics that turn individual moments into a seamless performance.
Through hands-on exercises, guided practice, and individual feedback, performers will refine their understanding of show openings and their purpose, scene types and placement, group work, pacing through edits, and the convergence of ideas toward a satisfying finale. Without relying on a set structure, students will learn how to intuitively shape their performances, creating dynamic and engaging shows from start to finish.
This class is open to experienced performers and students in Level 3 or higher.
