Level 1 (Intro to Improv)

Come and learn the basic fundamentals of improv to help improve your social skills, public speaking, confidence, all while having the best time of your life!


Level 2 (Advanced Improv Class)

If you have taken our Intro To Improv, our Advanced Improv Class is a great way to improve your skill and go even deeper with improv at Westside. Eight weekly sessions focused on playing with confidence, making it personal, deeper characters, richer subtext, and group scenes.


Level 3 (Even MORE Advanced Improv Class)

 If you’ve completed our Intro to Improv class and our Advanced class and you’re looking for more, the Even MORE Advanced class is a fun, challenging way to continue your improv journey.  The class involves eight weekly sessions and a show. You will focus on playing with group mind, the concept of Super YES, and investing more in your scene partner.


SKETCH WRITING 1

In our 8-week Sketch Writing I, you will learn the art of sketch writing. Brainstorming and writing exercises will stoke your creativity. Instruction in story structure, character development and script formatting will show you what to do with that creativity.


MUSICAL IMPROV CLASS

Using the combined creativity of music and improv, we’ll explore topics like character development through song, finding a big ‘moment’ in a scene, taking risks, bringing out the inner life of a character, and many more.


Musical Improv Class - Level 2

So you’ve mastered the basics of improvised song-ineering in Musical Improv Level 1 - what’s next? Musical Improv Level 2, of course!

Players Workshop
