Hillary Prager

Hillary fell in love with the stage ever since landing the coveted role of Marshmallow in her first grade Christmas school play. She found the spotlight and never looked back!  Hillary is a graduate of the training program at iO (improvOlympic) and studied improv at the Second City and the Playground Theater in Chicago. She took a little break (about 20 years) from improv and became a middle school teacher. But because she missed the stage so much, she made her way back and was lucky to find Westside where she couldn't be happier.

Kevin Carpenter

Kevin was introduced to improv during his high school years in theatre class and continued the improv journey during his time at the College of DuPage. However, it wasn't until later in life that he truly embraced improv again, thanks to a recommendation from his therapist. Apparently, the alternative was having a hole drilled in his skull to relieve some internal pressure, so improv seemed like the more appealing option!

Kevin's dedication to honing his skills led him to study improv, acting, stand up, and storytelling at Second City in Chicago. While he gained valuable knowledge and experience there, it was his time at Westside Improv and his involvement in the Players Workshop program that truly ignited his interest in performing improv on stage.

Since then, Kevin has actively pursued growth and exploration in the world of improv. He continues to attend workshops, classes, and intensives at Westside and other improv centers, allowing him to flourish as a performer. Kevin believes that his dedication to his craft serves as a powerful testament to the transformative impact of improv.

After taking a few classes in college and one at Comedy Sportz in Chicago he took a break for 20 years to start a family and build a business but he's back! He started taking classes at Westside in the summer of 2022. He's thrilled to be a part of Objectivize & Bicycle Fish Parade and loves the community at Westside.

He would like to thank his wife, Angie, and their three awesome kids, Piper, Quinn and Adelaide for their encouragement and support.

Randy Thermos

Randy-thermos.jpg

Randy (husband of Betty Thermos) started his career at a young age, performing alone in front of a bathroom mirror.
He quickly realized the audience was not interested… so he quit.

Then October of 2018 (5 DECADES later) he joined an intro to improv class and will never use a bathroom again.
He is honored and thrilled to be part of the incredible Westside family and hopes they will not put him up for adoption.
